Noeleen Clarke

My name is Noeleen Clarke, I am a proud Gadigal woman of the EORA Nation. I am originally from La Perouse Mission, however spent most of my life on the South Coast. I have 4 children and 5 grandchildren.

I grew up loving the life of the Salt water people, watching the family catching fish, digging for pippiies and diving for abalone and lobsters. As times changes and legislations made it harder for us to maintain our cultural diets, I became interested in the Justice system and how I could help make a change for our people. At 18 I joined our Local Aboriginal Lands Council in Nowra and spent a lot of time learning of the continual fight for our Lands and waters. I have held the voluntary position of Chairperson for a couple of terms over the years.

I was employed by the Aboriginal Legal Service Nowra and moved onto Juvenile Justice as a Youth Justice Conference Convenor. During this time I volunteered as a Community member for the Circle Sentencing Project, which only operates in certain areas and also volunteered as a Cell Support person for Aboriginals who came into Police custody.

Hello! My name is Con Voutas, and I have been immersed in the food services business in Australia for the past 10 years. My journey in the industry has been driven by a strong belief that everyone, including hardworking construction site workers, has the right to access healthy and nutritious food.

My passion for serving those who contribute to the construction industry has led me to a unique initiative – the establishment of on-site canteens within construction sites. Recognizing the demanding nature of their work, I wanted to ensure that construction site workers have convenient access to quality food and beverages during their demanding shifts.

Respect for the dedication and hard work of construction site personnel has been a cornerstone of my approach. By introducing canteens within the construction sites, my goal is to not only provide nourishing meals but also to create a supportive environment that acknowledges and appreciates the labor of these individuals.

Hello, I’m Steve, a passionate individual whose journey has been intertwined with the world of mechanics and entrepreneurship. From my early childhood, I found myself drawn to the intricate workings of machinery, sparking a lifelong interest in mechanical work.

One of my greatest joys is indulging in the collection of various antique cars, cherishing the unique stories and craftsmanship behind each vehicle. The thrill of driving these classics not only fulfills a hobby but also allows me to experience the nostalgia and elegance of a bygone era.

My belief in the power of small businesses led me to embark on an entrepreneurial journey. A decade ago, I took the bold step of starting a vending machine business as a humble beginning. Over time, this venture evolved, and I expanded into the realm of food services
